Amazing Turkish Coffee Cake

Ingredients for Turkish Coffee Cake

  •  2 cups flour (sifted and wiped)
  • 4 tablespoons margarine or butter (I used butter)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder or ( 1 teaspoon baking soda )
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • Half a glass of oil
  • 3 tablespoons Turkish coffee (powdered, not cooked)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Half a glass of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup of water

For the chocolate sauce on top

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips (dark is better)
  • 1 teaspoon margarine or butter
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk

To decorate: 1 teaspoon of Turkish coffee

Instructions steps:

  • To prepare Turkish coffee cake, first set the oven to 180 degrees. The desired cake mold is greased and floured.
  • Mix the flour, baking soda, sugar, and salt in the mixing bowl and let it sit.
  • Heat the oil, margarine, cocoa, Turkish coffee, cinnamon, and a glass of water in a small pan, but do not let it boil.
  • Pour this mixture over the flour and gently mix the ingredients together with a spoon.
  • Finally, add the eggs, yogurt, and vanilla, mix well with a wire whisk, and transfer to the cake mold.
